Get Involved in Good Deeds Day and Make a Positive Impact

Good Deeds Day Save The Date April 16, 2023

Good Deeds Day is fast approaching and now is the time to start planning.

What is Good Deeds Day?

Good Deeds Day is an annual global movement with participants in over 100 countries around the world and celebrates doing good and making a positive impact on others and the world. It was initiated in 2007 in Israel by businesswoman and philanthropist Shari Arison and has since grown to become a worldwide movement. Good Deeds Day will take place on April 16, 2023, and encourages people to engage in acts of kindness and good deeds, both big and small. The aim is to inspire people to make a difference in their communities and to create a culture of kindness, compassion, and generosity. It is a reminder that even small acts of kindness and generosity can make a big difference in the world and that working together can create a better and more compassionate world for everyone.

The types of activities that people can participate in on Good Deeds Day are varied and diverse. They can include anything from volunteering at a local charity to planting trees, organizing a food drive, helping out an elderly neighbor, to simply spreading positivity and kindness through random acts of kindness. The idea is that everyone can do something to make a positive impact.

The Kindness Cause Participation for Good Deeds Day

As a parent, I'm always looking for ways to teach my children about kindness, compassion, and giving back. My children are currently ages five and seven which make volunteering together challenging. This Good Deeds Day we will be making cards and writing letters to the elderly in a local senior citizens home. For many seniors, living in a care facility can be isolating and lonely, and receiving a thoughtful card can provide a sense of connection and brighten their spirits. It can also show that someone cares about them and is thinking of them, which can have a positive impact on their emotional well-being.

Good Deeds Day is an opportunity for people around the world to come together and make a positive impact in their communities. By participating in acts of kindness and generosity, we can create a more just, equitable, and compassionate world. So why not join the movement and do a good deed today? Tell us in the comments how you participated in Good Deeds Day.
